- BIOMEDICAL TECHNOLOGY
Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must be the following subjects – Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
- COMMUNITY HEALTH (CHEW)
- Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must be the following subjects – Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
- Retrainee (CHEW): Prospective candidates must be holder of Junior Community Health Certificate (b) 2 years post qualification in addition to Bi requirements above.
- DENTAL SURGERY TECHNOLOGY
Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must be the following subjects – Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
- DISPENSING OPTICIANRY COURSE:
Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The Five (5) credits must be the following subjects – English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics or Biology.
- ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY
- Environmental Health Technology (ND): Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination or its equivalents as may be approved by EHORECON or WAHEB at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must be the following subjects – Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
- Environmental Health Technology (HND): Prospective candidates must possess National Diploma (ND) in Environmental Health with evidence of completion of one (i) year relevant work experience (IT) in addition to Ei above.
- EPIDEMIOLOGY AND DISEASE CONTROL:
Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination or its equivalents as may be approved by EHORECON or WAHEB at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must be the following subjects – Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
- HEALTH EDUCATION/PROMOTION
Prospective candidates must possess four (4) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. These credits should include – Biology or Health Science, English Language, Mathematics and anyone of the following subjects Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Physics or Agricultural Sciences.
- HEALTH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
- Health Information Technology (ND): Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must be the following subjects – Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
- Health Information Technology (HND): Prospective candidates must possess National Diploma (ND) in Health Information with evidence of completion of one (i) year relevant work experience (IT) in addition to Gi above.
- MEDICAL LABORATORY
Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must be the following subjects – Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
- MEDICAL X-RAY
Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must be the following subjects – Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
- NUTRITION AND DIETETICS
- Nutrition and Dietetics (ND): Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must be the following subjects – Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language and any one of the following: Physics, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Commerce, Health Sciences, Home Management, Basic Catering and Food Services.
- Nutrition and Dietetics (HND): Prospective candidates must possess every requirement in Ji above, minimum lower credit (2.50 and above) in National experience. In exceptional cases ND with CGPA of 2.49 in National Diploma Examination (ND) that had 2 or more years of cognate experience in specific field may be considered for admission into the HND Programme.
- PARAMEDICS
Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must be the following subjects – Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
- PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must be the following subjects – Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
- PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING (HND)
- Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must be the following subjects – Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language plus b, c & d below
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Registered Midwife (RM) certificate or other basic nursing certificate e.g. Psychiatric Nursing certificate plus one year qualification.
- BNSC candidates from Universities accredited by NUC, NMCN and WAHEB.
- PUBLIC HEALTH TECHNOLOGY
Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must be the following subjects – Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
- HEALTH ASSISTANT (CERTIFICATE)
Prospective candidates must possess five (5) O/L credits at WASC, NECO or GCE examination at not more than two (2) sittings. Three (3) passes must be in the following subjects – Biology, English Language and Mathematics and any other relevant subjects.
- CARE GIVER
Prospective candidates must possess five (5) passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any two of the following: Agric Science, Commerce, Geography and Economics. A possession of Health Assistant Certificate will be accepted for admission into this programme.
